If you plan to eat the bars within 1-2 weeks, there’s no need to freeze them. However, since the Bare Bar contains only beef protein, tallow, honey, and salt—without fillers or stabilizers—it will gradually harden over time.
To maintain that fresh, chewy texture, we recommend freezing the bars. This prevents moisture loss, keeping them soft and delicious like the day they were made—just thaw for about 10-15 minutes before enjoying!
Bare Bars
We wanted to make the simplest protein bar on the market. Using the kind of ingredients our great grandparents would have used - not all the fancy new chemicals and flavors most folks use today.
A protein bar needs three ingredients - a fat, a sweetener, and a protein source. We chose to use beef tallow, raw honey, and beef protein. The only additional ingredient is a pinch of salt and we made an outstanding tasting product with the most natural and basic ingredients possible!
Grass-fed beef protein, grass-fed beef tallow, raw honey and salt. That's it!
No! The Bare Bar is only flavored with honey. There are no other natural or artificial flavorings.
If you aren't going to eat them within 10-14 days, we would recommend freezing them. This is not because they spoil, it is because freezing delays the hardening process.
All protein bars get harder/chewy after they are made. This process usually takes 4-6 weeks. Most other bars use chemicals, stabilizers or preservatives to slow down the hardening process.
We didn't want to put anything in our Bare Bars besides the four simple ingredients. Therefore, to combat the hardening process all you need to do is keep them in the freezer!
The bars thaw in 10-15 minutes to a soft texture as if they were just made fresh. If you plan on consuming in less than 1-2 weeks then you probably don't need to freeze.
You can put them in your pocket to warm them up even faster and get the texture even softer!
No! Bare Bars use beef protein powder rather than whey protein.
Yes! Since the base fat is tallow, the colder the bar the more firm it will be. If you stick the bar in your pocket for five minutes it will warm up and become very soft - almost like (carnivore) fudge!

These bars are my favorite food to grab when on the go! They have saved me in times when I’ve been busy serving others and forgotten to eat, or when I intentionally want extra protein, or when I’m looking for a treat but trying to stay on track with diet goals, or when I’m excited about a new project and forget to eat lunch. These are filling and satisfying. The flavor is phenomenal, the perfect amount of sweet with hints of salt that hit at just the right time. I have so much peace of mind munching on these because I know they are made with minimal and quality ingredients and zero fillers or gums or stabilizers or preservatives. These bars are literally just beef protein powder, tallow, touch of honey, touch of salt, that’s it!!!! They are the CLEANEST protein bars in the market, all the other ones have extra stuff in them. For the ones that are flavored, they add real ingredients such as cinnamon, actual vanilla bean instead of extract, actual espresso, or cocoa powder. The texture is cloudy, soft, light and airy. My top favorites change on my mood but currently I’m vibing with the original HONEY BAR and the newest flavor, COCOA BAR. The cocoa literally tastes like a cold brownie. I dream of these bars and have shared them with all my family and friends!! Per the photos I’m adding, clearly I eat these ALL THE TIME! 10 stars out of 5!

These are very filling, and satisfy my sweet tooth at the same time.
All of flavors are distinct and great, with a soft texture that is like a slightly firm marshmallow. It's became a solid travel option for fuel and digest well.
